How to prepare for appointment
To ensure the best healed results, please follow these preparation guidelines:
• Discontinue retinol, retinoids, and exfoliating acids for 14 days prior
• Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications 48 hours before your appointment
• Discontinue fish oil or turmeric supplements 14 days prior
• Avoid antibiotics or steroid medications 2 weeks before your appointment
• Avoid tanning or sunburn before your procedure
• Botox or filler injections should be done at least 2 weeks before or after
• Avoid facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or exfoliating treatments 14 days prior
• Do not exercise or consume caffeine on the day of your appointment
Who May Not be a candidate
Permanent makeup may not be suitable for individuals who are:
• Under 18 years old
• Pregnant or nursing
• Experiencing active skin conditions in the brow area (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, sunburn, acne, open wounds)
• Undergoing chemotherapy within the past year
• An organ transplant recipient
• Taking Accutane within the past year
• Prone to keloid scarring or hyperpigmentation
If you have previous permanent makeup, it must be approved before booking.
Additional Considerations
Certain medical conditions may require additional consideration prior to treatment. If any of the following apply, please consult with your physician and reach out prior to booking:
• Diabetes (must be controlled and consulted with a Physician)
• Epilepsy (must be controlled and consulted with a Physician)
• Autoimmune conditions (may affect healing)
• Blood-thinning medications (must consult with a Physician)
• Known nickel allergy (request a patch test prior to appointment)
